Spring cleanup is scheduled for the Lower Dam Recreation Area at Lake Lowell (Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge). Building on our successful October cleanup, we are organizing a litter collection event on April 12th, 9AM-12PM.
Location: Lower Dam Recreation Area on Riverside Rd, Caldwell. We will cover a 2-mile stretch from Orchard and Riverside to Lake Shore and Riverside.
Required equipment:
– Leather gloves
– Litter grabbers
– Rakes (optional)
Canyon County Highway District 4 will supply orange garbage bags and safety vests. Bring water – snacks will be provided.
Important: Due to heavy traffic conditions, children should not participate. Review the mandatory safety video before attending.
